We are looking for a talented, proactive, passionate, and strategist Social Media Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for creating original text, video content, managing posts and responding to followers to increase and improve our marketing and sales efforts. You should be able to handle our social media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement.
The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, a versatile creative writer, and a team player.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage Social Media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities of Optime and its clients.
  • Interpret creative briefs to develop and produce creative concepts through execution on assigned brands.
  • Understand target audiences and motivators to create the appropriate style, tone, and voice; ensure all communications are on brand and on strategy.
  • Apply brand and style guidelines to various digital, print, and communication pieces
  • Demonstrate ability to map out marketing strategy and drive the strategy proven by testing and metrics.
  • Monitor effective benchmarks (best practices) for measuring the impact of Social Media campaigns. Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.
  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews.
  • Design, create and manage promotions and Social ad campaigns.
  • Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout).
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications.
 
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Marketing or relevant field; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be Bilingual (Fluent in English and Spanish). Portuguese is a plus.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience as a Social media manager.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a diligent eye for detail, language, flow, and grammar.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must have experience in writing & blogging (English & Spanish).
  • Passion for social media – be personally active online and interested in the latest social & digital trends, innovations, & best practices. 
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
  • Highly organized and highly detail oriented.
  • Demonstrates creativity and documented immersion in Social Media.
  • Capability of working under pressure, meet deadlines and mange project details while balancing multiple priorities
  • Proactive, energetic, organized, customer focused, self-motivated and dynamic personality
  • High proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
