The Events & Sponsorship Manager will be responsible for managing Company and Client’s LIVE and VIRTUAL events, conferences, community outreach, internal functions and special initiatives. Job duties include meeting stakeholder needs, managing renewals and negotiations, overseeing communication with sponsors, aligning business and market needs, and overseeing sponsorship strategy and leverage planning. The ideal candidate will deliver phenomenal events that build business relationships, generate excitement around our organization and clients, grow sales, and amplify brand awareness.
This person ensures quality control throughout the project/event life cycles by performing the following duties:
Plan, facilitate and execute ALL client and internal events both LIVE and Virtual from beginning to end.
Generate media interest and coverage.
Manage sponsorships and marketing.
Manage event staff, providers, and associated risks.
Budgets research and event-related collateral management .
Research virtual event platforms, venues, speakers, and vendors .
Work closely with different groups to complete the event.
Conceptualize event themes, prepare and manage timelines, calendar, coordinate technical aspects, outlining the scope, objectives, outcomes, resources, budget and schedules.
Resolve any inconveniences or difficulties during the event cycle, constantly communicating with all involved teams.
Create presentations to show results and take meeting minutes.
Analyze and present project/event results.
Contribute new ideas, and provide feedback to improve current and future events.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA) in Marketing, Public Relations, Communication or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
Must be bilingual (English and Spanish) Portuguese is a plus.
Excellent leadership skills.

Excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills
Capable of multitasking and managing time efficiently.
Possess a strong work ethic with the ability to work independently.
